Nordic-XI

Supported by Scottish Enterprise, Nordic-XI was a research and development project aimed at developing an innovative mixed-asset index that integrated both equity and debt securities within a single analytical framework. Unlike traditional approaches that handle asset classes separately, this approach allowed for the interaction of different asset types in the portfolio construction process, improving both resource efficiency and statistical accuracy. The index also uniquely considered the cultural alignment of firms across 11 sustainably attractive markets, fostering responsible investment in line with shared regional values and sustainability principles. This approach promoted a new model for investing that merged financial performance with cultural and ethical considerations.
